A 3kW Battery-based power system for the provision of AC power (DC power is optional), designed for boats, vehicles and houses. Consists of one power electronics module and one or two Lithium Ion battery packs. All components will have been pre-installed/mounted in our factory.
The OctoPower 3 is supplied as an easy plug and play installation, with connections to: AC power (land/shore) input, solar panel(s) input, connection to outboards or inboard starter battery or vehicle starter battery. The maximum charge power from this source is 1 kW (100 Amps / 12 V or 50 Amps / 24 VDC). There are outlets for 120 VAC 60 Hz output.
OctoPower systems provide Super Inverter electrical power at locations where electrical power is not available as standard.
Battery Storage & Solar/ Power – The heart of the OctoPower system is a durable power storage, made from Lithium Ion or long life lead-acid battery technology, charged by solar and/or windpower.
Super Inverter– Low voltage battery power is now utilised by the Kraken. Super Inverters, ranging from 3 kVA to 32 kVA single or three phase electrical power. The Super Inverter now supplies 120 or 230 volts to the power system.
Super Charger– The Kraken Battery Storage is re-charged by one or more Kraken Super Fast Chargers. Normally this Super Charger is connected to the main (or shore) power. But when main or shore power is not available, we can charge with solar or windpower.
Ultra silent WhisperPower Generator– Back-up power is available from one of the many silenced diesel generators, either with DC or AC output. Power rating from 4.4 kVA – 50 kVA. Perfect system integration.
Monitoring and Control– KrakenCare monitoring and control safeguards a fully controlled and perfectly managed power system.
